About Us
Excellent Severe Weather Spotters in Clarksville
At Northwestern Tennessee Storm Spotters, we are a team of trained spotters where we cover Northwestern Tennessee. Our team is made of military members (acitve or retired), volunteer and paid fire fighters, and citizens of the community. During severe weather storms, we have team members out spotting the storms location, weather information and any other information to National Weather Service. At NWS, this information is gathered and put out to the communities in the hopes of protecting everyone's lives.
Our neighbors safety is Priority #1!
We always aim to provide accurate weather information to National Weather Service in order to give our fellow citizens notice in a timely manner to save their lives. Our members take all the nessarary and additional training each year. We take a lot of pride in our volunteering to our community, and we'll do whatever we can to help. We think of our volunteering as offering more than just a simple service. We believe in the state's motto, 'The Volunteer State'.
Our Weather Reporting
Events are a great way to meet like-minded professionals and make new contacts. As such, we have a jam-packed calendar of social events for our community. We provide accurate weather reporting to NWS/NOAA.
